I'm inexperienced with DD-WRT so I may have not used the right search terms to look for the problem but I have learned to use JTAG, Putty, WinSCP and scripting to look at the nvram values in attempting to trouble shoot this problem. I usually evaluate one of the builds for about 1-3 weeks and can get the wifi to work for a day or an hour simply by changing the TxPwr and apply settings instead of resetting or rebooting the router. Prior to those I had been running a V23_SP2 (4Mar2007) which was stable for weeks or months on WRT54 GS and GL routers. I have been trying different V24 mega versions based on the VINT (old driver) and the following ones ( 13064, 13491 snow, and 12533 ) all drop WiFi signal at the AP (no xmit signal on RF channel) after 1-2 days.
